Greetings from the country.
Watching the news and other outlets, it appears to me that there is a lot of focus on people and issues that are more urban and suburban focused. I know there are exceptions to this, but it does seem that the more rural areas of the country are left out of the picture. Yes, I know that populations in rural areas are smaller, but they still have a voice in this country and they should be heard. My rural part of the country is a bit more populated than others, only because I live east of the Mississippi. This is still a rural community and differs greatly from the nearby urban and suburban areas.
I plan to talk about a variety of topics as we progress down this road of life. Some will be serious commentary on current events and some will be humorous comments on daily life. I hope you enjoy what I have to say in the coming days/weeks/years.
